As a therapist I strive to bring a warm, direct, and supportive presence to our sessions. I am passionate about using collaboration and curiosity to co-create therapeutic spaces that invite in client’s complexities and vulnerabilities. I have a background in community mental health, with a focus on harm reduction, reproductive care, and the LGBTQIA+ population. As a systemically trained couples and family therapist, I am comfortable working with individuals, couples, and families across all ages.

I specialize in Sex therapy and also enjoy working with folks who are navigating grief & loss, those struggling with body image & self esteem, folks in kinky, polyam, and nonmonogamous relationships, families in development (intergenerational dynamics, co/parenting, reproduction), and aging adults.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing on multiple theories and techniques to best meet the needs of my clients. I often integrate principles from Narrative therapy, Experiential therapy, and Feminist theory into sessions and am comfortable including somatic, creative, cultural & spiritual practices in sessions as desired by my clients. It is important to me that the work we do together feels affirming, expansive, and challenging. I practice from a pleasure-positive, trauma-informed lens.

It is my hope as your therapist that together we can cultivate a future where your healing does not occur in isolation, rather through being held and witnessed by those in community with you.

We work with training therapists we love who bring skills from previous careers to offer exceptional care at an affordable rate.

I’m a graduate student at Capella University pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and taking play therapy courses so I can work towards my certification upon becoming licensed.

I believe that there is no concrete approach to counseling because every client is different, but I do utilize techniques from modern feminist theory, queer theory, person-centered theory, cognitive-behavioral theory, and the body liberation movement. I am a nonbinary, queer person who previously worked with teenagers as a high school teacher, and I am passionate about helping those who are neurodivergent, queer, and marginalized in and out of the counseling room.

I am happily married to an amazing woman, and we have three cats and three dogs. Outside of work, I enjoy playing games, reading books, writing stories, and going to the beach.

I got into this work because I want to be the kind of person that the nervous, confused, queer person like myself needed when I was a child, and I want to be that for others, as well.

A social worker, therapist, and advocate, Chandler is known for wearing many hats. They began their career working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. This experience sparked a curiosity in understanding behavior and the individual strengths and needs that everyone has.

First and foremost, Chandler is committed to social justice, service, and integrity as a social worker. She is a proud alumna of the College of Charleston, where she received her B.A. in Psychology in 2017, and Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!), where she received her master’s degree in Social Work in 2020. Chandler’s practice utilizes an eclectic therapy model with influences from the Systems Perspective and Acceptance and Commitment therapy in a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, feminist, client-centered way. They work primarily within the intersection of neurodiversity and queerness.
